Color Editing is fighting games is a pretty fun feature. Sometimes I personally spend hours upon hours in CvS2 or SvC Chaos seeing who or what I can create out of pre-existing characters.
Feel free to share your edits in this forum. However, there are a few rules you must obey. They are as follows:
1. You are not allowed to post in anyone else's edit topic unless it's to complement someone on their work, or to say what needs improvement.
2. Expanding upon rule 1, you may only post KIND criticism.
3. If an edit has already been done, your edit will not be accepted. It will be deleted. You CAN, however, post an alternate version of the same character. For example, in SvC Chaos, there is no "Evil" Ryu, but I took Evil Ryu's colors from CvS2 and put them on Ryu in SvC Chaos to make an CvS2-style Evil Ryu, which no one else is allowed to post here, but, you CAN post a Street Fighter Alpha 3 or Marvel VS. Capcom-style Evil Ryu if you have the means to do so.
4. Do not take credit for another editor's work. That will result in a 3 week banning from this ENTIRE message board, and a repeated offense will result in a permanent banning.
5. Keep your edits under 1 topic. Keep all of your own CvS2 edits in one topic, SvC Chaos edits in their own topic, and so on.
6. Expanding upon rule 5, I will allow you to create multiple edit topics, one topic for each game that contains a color editing game mode. I do this to allow easy access to edits from a certain game without going through post after post of edits from a different game.
7. If you like a creator's edits, Bookmark their edit topics so you can reach them easy. There will be a lot of topics here once this place get's jumping, so Bookmarking your favorite edit topics will help you keep track of them in case they get lost.
8. Organize your edits in your topics whichever way you choose. There is no pre-set way.
9. Expanding upon rule 8, I still wish for your edits to be in a format identical or similar to the following (using an example):
R stands for Red, G for Green, B for Blue. And for the values 1-9, please put a zero before them, like 01-09. It makes things neater.
10. You're allowed to place as many edits in a post as you want, as long as you don't run out of characters in the post. But you're definately allowed to place 1 edit in a post if you choose to do so.
That's basically it. If you have questions or problems, feel free to PM me. Have fun editing!
